READING THE FINE PRINT
Meet the Artist
Most of my life has been shaped by moving between places, languages, and cultures, and trying to understand how those pieces fit together. That experience taught me to pay attention to how people present themselves, how environments shape behavior, and how perspective affects perception.
That way of thinking shows up directly in my work. I’m primarily focused on identity, often through portraiture, but also through objects, spaces, and parts of a person rather than a complete image. I’m interested in how a person can be understood differently depending on what is shown, what is hidden, and what is left out entirely.
